Our Favorite Dinner Spots for Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia

If you’re looking for the perfect place to spend Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia, look no further than Center City— one of the country’s finest dining destinations. At Spruce Street Commons, we’re fortunate to be in the heart of it all! The Annex and The Touraine are within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and bars in the area. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we’re putting a spotlight on some of our favorite romantic dinner spots in Philadelphia. Continue reading to see where you should make your Valentine’s Day reservations and get a sneak peek of our go-to dishes.

Celebrate your love at The Love. Located just steps from Rittenhouse Square, The Love is a restaurant experience unlike any other. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with open arms and sincere hospitality. The Love is thoughtfully decorated with soft lighting and plenty of seating, (indoor, outdoor, and an upper-level loft) making this the perfect place to celebrate your love over a romantic dinner.

The menu consists of new American dishes with a southern twist. Here you’ll find everything from Southern-style hush puppies to pumpkin risotto. Our favorite item on the menu is the Lovebird (buttermilk fried chicken, buttery corn grits, comeback sauce, and collard greens). The Love has an extensive beverage program, with innovative cocktails and wines from around the world. Grab a bottle for the table and don’t forget to leave room for dessert!

If you’d rather celebrate your love during the day or on the weekends, The Love also offers brunch. View the menu and make your reservations here.

The Parc will have you believing you’re dining in Paris. With freshly baked croissants, escargots, and steak frites, this restaurant and bistro is the epitome of fine dining and French cuisine. The restaurant itself presents a sweeping interpretation of the French lifestyle with authentic design elements imported directly from Europe.

The menu has a wide selection of European favorites like Duck l’Orange, Onion Soup Gratinée, and Veal Escalope. Start the night with a fresh basket of French bread, spreads, and a bottle of wine. Our favorite items on the menu include Steak Tartare and Spaghetti Bolognese.

Parc is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. View the menu and make your Valentine’s Day reservations here.

Charley Dove is a unique open-kitchen concept at the corner of Spruce Street and South 20th Street (just a few minutes from The Annex and The Touraine). This small but mighty restaurant specializes in authentic European cuisine such as Mediterranean and French fare.

The menu features a small selection of starters, entrees, and desserts perfect for sharing. We love to start with the Duck Confit and Leeks a la Vinaigrette. While the menu is on the smaller side, it’s nothing short but flavorful. Charley Dove is BYOB. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine or stop by Food & Friends across the street to pick up beer, wine, and drinks.

Reservations are encouraged as this restaurant is very small, with an open kitchen and dining room all in the same space. View the menu at Charley Dove and reserve your table here.
