Fair Season is back in the City – Spruce Hill May Fair

April 27, 2022

There are so many outdoor activities happening in the city this spring! From food trucks to beer gardens, there’s a little something for everyone. After a long two years, we’re excited to announce the Spruce Hill May Fair is back!

The Spruce Hill Community Association has been hosting this fair for over 60 years, it’s a local tradition and fundraiser to support the SHCA Block Improvement Grants. Its mission is to connect the neighborhood with local groups and artisans.

There will be outdoor music, outdoor games, face painting, and an inflatable slide for the kids. Come hungry, because some of Philly’s best food trucks and vendors will be on-site serving delicious food and beverages. The fair will feature vendors offering artisanal goods, crafts, and art. This fair is a great opportunity to connect with new people, community groups, and local businesses.

Families, local artisans, and community organizations are invited to gather, graze, and shop. The fair will be held on Saturday, May 7th from noon to 6:00 pm at Clark Park (43rd & Chester Ave), just minutes from Garden Court Plaza. Attendees are invited to participate in a raffle to support the Spruce Hill Community Association. The winner will receive a variety of exciting prizes from some of West Philadelphia’s favorite businesses.
